BLACK ADDICTS IN RECOVERY SHOW 2013!

This is a recording of my annual "Black Addicts In Recovery" show that I air every February during Black History Month. On this special programming event I host a panel of Black addicts and alcoholics who are recovered or recovering from addiction and/or alcoholism, who have risen from the ashes much like the legendary Phoenix, and who want to share their stories of recovery with everyone, but in particular black and people of colour who are perhaps struggling with addiction issues and are trying to find a way out. This is a recording of a phone interview that I had recently, and aired on my radio show "The Middle Passage, heard every Wednesday from 5-7pm on Radio Regent, with Toronto actor, director, playwright, Tanisha Taitt about the play that she's currently directing, "The Power Of Harriet T.". The play details the life of historic black abolitionist and underground railroad conductor, Harriet Tubbman, who helped free many runaway slaves at great risk to her own freedom and life.
