This is a recording of a pre-recorded phone interview that I had with Harbourfront Centre's "WorldStage" Artistic Director, Tina Rasmussen. WorldStage, which is held annually at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre is one of Toronto's most anticipated cultural events. THE LAST WHITE KNIGHT: Is Reconciliation Possible....Interview With Director Paul Saltzman
This is a recording of an phone interview that I edited and produced for my radio show, "THE MIDDLE PASSAGE", Radio Regent, that I had with Canadian documentary filmaker Paul Saltzman. We talked about his latest documentary, "The Last White Knight: Is Reconciliation Possible" a film that takes Saltzman back to Greenwood, Mississippi where, as a 21 year-old, he went to do volunteer work with SNCC to help blacks register for the vote back in 1965. There, he had an encounter with 19 year-old klansman Delay de la Beckwith, son of notorious klansman Byron de la Beckwith, a man who was found guilty of the murder of civil rights icon, Medgar Evers. Saltzman recounts those tumultuous years and also of meeting with Delay de la Beckwith after all of these years to see if there could be a reconcilliation....enjoy! This is a recording of a roundtable interview that I recently had with actor/comedian/writer/producer/director & model, Marlon Wayans, of the talented Wayans Family, and which I will also air on my radio show January 30th on Radio Regent. Marlon has starred in films such as "I'm Gonna Get You Sucka", "Scary Movie", "White Chicks", "Requiem For A Dream", Don't Be A Menace", amongst many others, Wayans was in town to promote his latest effort, "A Haunted House". THIS IS WAR....The Interview With Actress Lisa Berry
This is a recording of a phone interview that I had with Canadian actress Lisa Berry who is currently appearing in "THIS IS WAR" as Master Corporal Tanya Young, it's a brilliantly powerful play that follows the wartime and civilian lives of three Canadian soldiers and one medic during and after their tours of duty in Afghanistan. This is a recording of a phone interview (produced & edited by me), that I had with actress Quancetia Hamilton, who portrays the character "Audette", in the powerful play "AWAKE" being staged at Toronto's Factory Theatre until January 13th, 2013.
